To reach BUNK'ART 1, visitors must pass through a dark and intriguing tunnel that awakens a sense of mystery and curiosity about what lies inside. The path leading to the bunker—a 250-meter walk through nature’s landscape—prepares you to uncover a hidden past.

Upon reaching the main entrance, you will see an impressive structure: a five-story underground bunker, built during the communist regime as a secure shelter for the ruling elite of the time. It features over 100 rooms and long corridors waiting to be explored.

The exhibition rooms display documents, photographs, and authentic artifacts that illustrate how Albanian life changed throughout the tense decades of the 20th century. The audiovisual rooms offer documentaries that make the visit even more engaging. The exhibits on the military and civil defense reveal how the regime perceived threats and why thousands of bunkers were built across the country.
