BUNK’ART Founder Carlo Bollino will be present with “In the Tunnels of Secret Albania” at the 28th Book Fair!

The book is available in Albanian, English, and Italian at the Toena Publishing stand from November 12 to 16.

This book explores how a dictatorship is born and survives in a small country. Unlike larger nations, where a regime’s control struggles to reach the farthest corners of society, in Albania, communist leader Enver Hoxha built a relentless police system that penetrated every aspect of public and private life for 45 years, suppressing even the smallest forms of freedom.

The narrative is based on original documents from the period and the author’s firsthand observation of the deep wounds left by the regime on modern Albanian society.
