Connecting with Roots: OriginAL Program Brings Diaspora Youth to Bunk'Art 1

A group of young adults from the OriginAL program visited Bunk'Art 1 as part of an educational and cultural tour.

OriginAL is a program that provides educational and cultural tours for young adults of the Albanian diaspora, aiming to connect them with their roots. Launched in 2022 by GERMIN and the Global Albanians Foundation, the program has ambitious goals to change how the younger generations of the diaspora perceive their countries of origin.

The young adults were accompanied by a professional guide during their visit to Bunk'Art. They had the opportunity to learn about Albania's history during the communist period, experiencing a journey into the past through exhibitions and vivid stories. This activity not only helped the participants to better understand the history of their country but also to strengthen their ties with their culture and identity.

Through such experiences, OriginAL aims to create a strong and lasting connection between diaspora youth and Albania.
